Your Questions, Answered.

Colocation means you place server hardware that you own into a rack in our data center. You keep full ownership and control of the machine, and we provide the facility around it: power, cooling, network connectivity, and physical security.

It sits between running your own server room and renting virtual infrastructure. You get a fully operated facility without the capital cost of building one.

The 590 NOK/month baseline covers 1U of rack space in Oslo, dual A/B power feeds (up to 600 W draw), a 1 × 1 Gbit/s network port, 10 TB of monthly traffic, one IPv4 address, and IPMI remote access. Electricity is billed separately on actual consumption.

The infrastructure is redundant. This means that lines are redundant, cooling is redundant, and that it is A and B courses for power. It is quadruple redundant UPS that handles momentary power outage and a diesel generator. The security level is high, with security around the clock.

The base rate applies to a 1U server (44.4 mm). Each additional rack unit adds roughly 450 NOK/U/month. For 2U and above, multi-server setups, higher-density configurations, or full racks, pricing factors in rack units, power profile, and service requirements. All cases are quoted individually.

Electricity is metered and charged separately from the placement fee. We bill your actual consumption at 1.30 NOK/kWh (rate as of Q2'26). Metering real usage gives you an itemized view of costs rather than a flat-rate estimate bundled into the placement fee.

Each server includes a 1 Gbit/s port and 10 TB of monthly traffic, with additional traffic at 50 NOK per 10 TB. You can upgrade to 10 Gbit/s (199 NOK/month) or 25 Gbit/s (799 NOK/month), add extra 1 Gbit/s ports (97 NOK/month), or arrange cross-connects to other tenants and carriers on request.

One IPv4 address is included. Beyond that, addresses are allocated in routed blocks - the smallest is a /29 (8 addresses) at 120 NOK/month, priced as a whole. So even if you only need 2 or 3 extra IPs, a /29 is the next step up. IPv6 is planned to roll out in 2026. Contact us for allocation details.

We offer monthly colocation contracts, with custom terms available for larger deployments. Support during business hours is included. Out-of-hours emergency callouts are a paid service, billed separately.

We commit to 100% uptime on our infrastructure: switches, lines, and power supplies. In the rare event we fail to meet that, you are compensated with free hosting covering the period our service was unavailable.
